This is a working leadership position responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations while ensuring every guest receives fresh, high-quality food and exceptional service. This position reports directly to ownership and plays a key role in the continued growth and success of our food program.

Schedule

• Full-Time (32–40 hours per week)
• Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
• Additional hours may be available during tournaments, private events, and peak golf season.

• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven kitchen leadership or management experience.
• Strong line cooking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and food cost control.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Located inside the newly renovated Wing Park Golf Course clubhouse, Chip Shots Golf & Whiskey Bar offers craft cocktails, an extensive whiskey selection, indoor golf simulators, and a chef-driven menu prepared fresh to order from our permanent onsite gourmet food truck. As a Part-Time Food Truck Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing and executing menu items from our food truck kitchen while maintaining high standards for food quality, speed, and organization. You will work directly under the guidance of the Head Chef, assisting with daily prep, service execution, and maintaining kitchen standards.

Because the kitchen operates in a food truck environment, organization, efficiency, and teamwork are essential.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Chip Shots recipes and standards
• Work directly with the Head Chef to execute menu items and maintain kitchen quality standards
• Assist with food prep, portioning, and ingredient preparation as directed by the Head Chef
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food truck kitchen
• Ensure food is prepared consistently and presented properly
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality
• Communicate clearly with servers and bartenders regarding orders and timing
• Assist with stocking, inventory organization, and restocking ingredients
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning and restocking
• Support special events, leagues, and busy weekend service periods

• Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a small, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
